Dance, drum, ballet 101, Tap dance, and Jazz: wear comfortable clothes, bring a wrapper for around waist, and tennis shoes, ballet or tap shoes if you have them .

Week 1: June 3-7 MALI : Create your own Bogolan, Mali's famous traditional mud clothing, and  learn the dance of the griot, the Lamba dance, that tells stories that are part of the oral history of a community. 

Week 2: June 10-14 CONGO: Discover the northern Ngbandi dance, a shared dance between Central African Republic and RDC. Have fun making  your own Congolese mask collage. 

Week 3: June 17-21 SENEGAL: The focus is on the the Sunu dance, a celebration of the harvest; develop your drawing skills as you discover a famous modern art form in Senegal, the reverse glass painting. .

Week 4: June 24-28 GHANA: Learn how the Akan people from Ghana and Cote d'Ivoire print their fabulous Adinkra cloths.Create your own cloth with real  Adinkra stamps and have the opportunity to carve your own stamps. The dance and percussion will focus on the energetic Gahu dance. 

Week 5: July 1-5 GUINEA: Create your own Bogolan,  Guinea's famous traditional mud clothing, and  learn the Kuku dance, the harvest dance of the fishers returning from fishing.

Week 6: July 8-12 GAMBIA: Create your own batik or Indigo cloth with batik stamps, Gambia's famous and vibrant dye cloth. Discover and learn the Ekon-kon dance, the victory dance of the Jola King after the war. 

Week 7: July 15-19 NIGERIA: Experience the Fulani dance, an unique cultural melody tradition practiced by the Fulani of Northern Nigeria of West Africa. Have fun building your own Nigeria masks.

Week 8: July 22-26  SOUTH AFRICA: Learn how the Ndebele tribe from Northeastern of South Africa paint rich and colorful geometrical patterns called Ndebele. The dance and percussion will focus on the energetic Zuku dance.
